Psychic Protection In Physical Life

To some extent you are using the concept well now. Get a deeper feeling of its nature, its purpose, its benefits and, likewise, get an understanding of that which is not a benefit. (Granger for Lady Godiva): Good Morning! This is a beautiful day. Let us be up to the spirit of nature and do some good work today. We will give you recompense for your staying with us through all the writing of the unfortunate experiences of those who choose to wreck havoc in life on the earth. Today we begin some material on a more cheerful subject, that of protection.

Protection is a very worn-out word in many ways, having a wide range of applications. Almost everyone gets protection of some kind for something. Even those who are held in prisons to protect others from their attacks are, themselves, protected from the attacks of others in turn. We, however, know of no better word to describe the concept about which we desire to write now. The idea may be qualified by referring to it as spiritual or psychic protection. We will use the word psychic rather than spiritual because this idea relates to the specific application of spirit power and energy to conditions in the physical life. Under these conditions we like to use the word psychic, and by that we mean, as we just described, spirit energy used in the physical realm of life.

Psychic protection is the essence of the High-soul's follow-through to ensure that the goals and objectives assigned to the personality in the earth-life are achieved; that these goals are achieved well and in order. No High-soul ever sends a personality out on a life-mission with a purpose in the physical life (we were about to say "earth-life" but changed it deliberately to all physical life) without the necessary capsule of protection essential to achieving the objectives assigned.

Protection, in this sense, is not from life's struggles, nor is it protection from the need for effort. Protection is not given to ease the burden of living in the earth, nor to remove the experience of life and the need to engage in the struggle of physical life. The purpose of protection is to permit the person to be able to get on with the job at hand. The job at hand is to develop through life those experiences necessary to achieve the assigned goals.

High-souls do not go fishing blindly in unknown waters. There are specific areas of experience required by each soul for its own development plan, and experience in those specific areas of life are those desired. No High-soul sends a personality out into life saying: "Go out there and look around for a while; see what happens; look into everything; soak up some experience and drag it all back here. We will look at it when your return and see what we can use." No Indeed! The soul sends the personality out into life, be it in your dimension ...physical, or in mine ...psychic, with a specific purpose and with certain areas of life to be lived and experienced.

Life is more than a window-shopping trip to be carried out willy-nilly. Life is an assigned expedition in which the person experiences life, but more than that, causes life to be. The person of the personality brings a large part of life's experience into existence. Life, as well as to be experienced, is to be created along certain 'lines. The point is this: no person is sent out into life blindly, as a victim of circumstance, to be buffeted about by every whim and fancy of life, depending on the elements of good or bad luck to survive. Life is a programmed, but not predestinated, expedition to be carried out in certain areas of experience.

We are developing the idea of consciousness along the lines of psychic protection in the physical realm. What we need to comprehend much more clearly is the nature, the necessity. the purpose, and finally, the consequence of not using it properly, the potential consequence that is. Through a lifetime in the physical earth, psychic protection is not very obvious from the physical side. I could almost say it is not obvious at all. I suppose no other element of physical life is so subdued, so very lacking in awareness of the human mind, as the idea of personal psychic protection. After our best efforts, very few indeed will accept the idea. Even fewer will take the concept into focus and apply it in the practical applications of life. We, however, must do our part; we must present the ideas as clearly as possible, and trust that some benefit will result from the effort.

There is what might be considered a universal protection consciousness, out of a source of High-souls, other than those who send out personalities. In physical terms, I suppose you would refer to it as The Universal Protection Agency. That would not be the correct idea. The idea to comprehend here is that the protecting entity, the protecting personality, is of the very essence of the "Beingness" of The Source, of The Supreme Mind, of The Godhead, if you like to think of it in those terms. The essence of Supreme Being reflects itself in such a way in all consciousness that protection for the integrity of each form as created or patterned is given to all. Protection is an inherent element of consciousness. To say that "the very hairs of your head are numbered" is a good way of expressing the idea intended. The idea expressed in this statement was to persuade the human mind to accept the reality of the nature of protection in its essence. ["But the very hairs of your head are all numbered," spoken by Jesus to his disciples, is from Matthew, 10:30 and Luke 12:7.]

In physical terms, the idea of protection, in its nature of universal protection, becomes somewhat distorted. Very often the need to protect one thing in physical terms implies the need to destroy something else. That concept is not true in the essence of psychic or spiritual protection. In spiritual terms nothing is ever destroyed; nothing is protected at the expense of something else.

In the physical life, certain orders of life continue existence at the expense or demise of others. We observe that man in the earth chooses what he will consume to his pleasure. He does not give much thought to the idea that for him to continue to live other forms of life must die. Now this is not wrong, but it is indeed worthy of some consideration and thinking about. In the planes of spiritual consciousness there is no requirement or need for one form to consume another to support life.

We want to make this point clear: in the spirit all forms have their own justification and continuance of being. We, The Auroral People, for example, have no need to consume any other form of existence to support life. We have, therefore, a wider range of reverence for all forms of life than you hold in the physical earth. The physical human mind stacks forms of life in orders of priority. Under certain conditions it is wrong to kill another human being, even though at other times it seems to be perfectly acceptable and legal. From our point of view this seems inconsistent; life must be sacred or it isn't. Why kill one human being because he or she killed someone else? We understand that fear of being killed in retaliation is suppose to prevent those who would kill. We doubt that fear is very often an effective prevention, and are of the opinion that stooping to acts of violence is not the way to prevent violence. Acts of war are not the way to prevent war; acts of killing are not the way to prevent killing. Better to comprehend the sacred nature of any human being and try to turn that mind to channels of comprehension of the purposes of life.

We, The Auroral People, believe it would be better to give each and everyone in prison material to study (such as this and others) to help them comprehend the nature of life, its purpose, its meaning, the pattern of the soul's objectives in any given life, and the need to develop and to grow into wider areas of awareness. You will not ever get rid of crime in the earth by reinforcing this concept in any mind: "I am a criminal! And I think like a criminal because that's what I am". 'Provide the control as necessary to prevent criminal acts, but provide at the same time, an open hand to extend the opportunity for a change in outlook and self-image. If you do not want leopards, do not paint spots!

Spiritual protection is inherent in the very process and form of life. Those who control the fit and form of patterns ensure each has integrity without interference with the integrity of others. The idea of a complete pattern of a puzzle cut to fit, each piece supporting but not interfering with the others, that is the idea to hold relative to spiritual life and forms of being. Each form of life in the spiritual dimension, and there are many, has its own protective consciousness, its own protective integrity that cannot be damaged or destroyed by any other form. Also, each individual of any form of being has its own protective spiritual or psychic tissue. This sometimes is referred to in the physical earth as a "tissue-capsule," not an incorrect idea at all. The tissue- capsule is the protective element of the nature of the spirit-being that guards it from any invasion or interference or control or possession from any other individual.

Now you may say, "If that is true, is there such a phenomenon as possession?"...which seems to be a popular source of horror in the earth. Well the answer is yes, possession is a fact under some conditions, but it is a fact that needs some explanation and a clearer understanding. Possession of any mind by any other mind or personality is possible. Although it is possible, it is not very likely to happen because of several reasons. First of all, each and every personality has its own inherent protective tissue or energy-field that prevents any other energy-field from entering the area and control of the mind. The mind is protected by the personality. The mind will, however, respond to another personality if that personality is allowed to enter the realm of control; The mind responds to certain stimuli; it does not check out the source of the stimulus given, it simply responds to it. The mind in turn, will influence the brain of the physical body, which will respond in like manner. Now you see, the source of the problem, where we have possession, is with the personality; not with the mind, or the physical brain, per se.

Why does any personality permit some other personality to invade and control its mind and its will unless it is simply over-powered? First off, understand this: there is no personality, no power anywhere in all existence that has the power to overcome or overpower the will of any other personality without being allowed to do so. This is where the built-in, sacred, protection of any given personality comes into play. The will of the mind must respond to the willingness of its parent personality to allow another personality to enter.
