Pre/Post Fight Comments from Tuesday Throwdown: Feb 15, 2005

Pre Fight Comments:

Demont Clemons: "Hey, when I signed up for this, I didn't know I'd be fightin transvestites! I mean, who wants to wear a skirt in the ring anyway? Oh it's a "Kilt?" Nah, it's a skirt, but he'll be "kilt" after I'm done with him!"

Declan MacIntosh: "Aye now, big man Clemons thinks he can talk trash about ma kilt does he? I'll show tha lil lass that ya nae insult Scottish trradition or prrride!"

Virgil Norton: "I'm up against Duncan MacPherson, I'm sure his judo skill is good, but I'm a submission wrestler and I ain't gonna b beat. Plus I got the New York fight instinct. I was born for this!"

Duncan MacPherson: "We've got two of Scotland's finest in tha Pentagaan this eve. Ye have me cousin Declan in tha foirst fight, then ye have me against Virgil Norton. I'm sure he's a tough laddie, but he wan be able to taek me out!"

Stan Roper: "Tonight Stan Roper faces off against Jose Guerrero. Both of us are making our debut, and both of us want to win so we can climb the ranks. Only one of us can win and I predict it'll be me."

Jose Guerrero: "Vengo a GCA luchar difícilmente y probar que estoy entre el mejor del mundo. He estado entrenando a la mayoría de vida debajo de Alavarez Montoya Ricardo DeJesus y esta noche hago mi mentor orgulloso"

(Translation- "I come to GCA to fight hard and prove that I am among the best in the world. I have been training most of life under Alavarez Montoya Ricardo DeJesus and tonight I make my mentor proud.")

Dan Howards: "I've been training hard and preparing for this. I just want to go out and have a good fight and I thank God I am here to enjoy this competition."

Dante Brown: "Dan Howards is a nice guy, and this will be a good, clean, straight up fight. It's good he gave his soul to Jesus because when he steps into The pentagon, his [bleep] is mine!"








Post Fight Comments:

Declan MacIntosh: "He wanted ta make it personal, so I did. I hope he lurned an impoertant lesson!"

Duncan MacPherson: "T'was a good faight, but I proved that I was better. I wanna thank ma cousin Declan for training me!"

(Translation- "It was a great fight, and Stan Roper proved he has talent and is to be taken seripously. however, he made a big mistake and I capitalized and used it to my advantage to take home the win.")
