Due to our multi-national representation at GG UK, and the fact that M7 aired only in the last year in Europe (this year in the UK) the Chester attendees decided to send a 'Euro-gift' to the cast and producer.
The idea was that everyone should send a token item that they felt would represent their home or country! It was an optional participation, and to keep things fair, we limited the gift to a certain price and size. Those taking part bought the same item(s) nine times so that we could send the same gift to Mike, Eric, Tony, Dale, Rick, Ron, Andy, Laurie and John Watson. Some people did find a slightly different gift for Laurie, if their original one was not appropriate.
Those who took part then found nine postcards from their town, upon which they wrote a personal message to each recipient explaining why they had chosen that item to represent their area.
 We also created a main card using images from everyones home (see right or click for larger version). Inside the card we printed the message '7 Men, One Destiny, Forever' and added '(and 33 Women *g*)'. On the sunday afternoon the group got carried away and came up with some alternative messages for the card. If you want a laugh, take a look at some of the 'cleaner' suggestions!
The gifts were all parcelled together, along with the postcards, and sent to each recipient.
