My name is Gloria Jean. I hope you enjoy the pages I have created to display
some samples of my portrait work and some still life paintings. Most of my
work is done in oils but I occasionally work in water color, just for fun.
I will take commissioned
portraits in oils, although I usually just find a subject who inspires me and
paint them as they appear to me. I have been painting since about the age of 14 when my father bought me a set
of acrylics. Since then, I have studied the work and techniques of many
artists from their books. John Howard Sandon had
the greated influence on me.
