The 1947 AAGPBL Playoffs were a Shaugnessy style playoff. In the semi-finals, Racine beat Muskegan three games to one and Grand Rapids beat South Bend in five games. 

In the finals, the first three games went into extra innings. The Grand Rapids Chicks finally won the series in the seventh game with a 1-0 win.
