but as it goes...
know better, do better
-or at least try;
to show tolerance instead of criticism and hostility
resulting in patience
instead of condemnation and anger,
to give encouragement instead of ridicule resulting in confidence
as opposed to shyness,
to give praise resulting in appreciation,
show fairness-justice,
provide security-faith,
give approval-like onesself:
to me this is a mother...
the one I tried to be
I believe I was successful
at least to some degree
sometimes you don't know
what is right
but yet you know what's not
so you try to do
the best you can
and hope it's not for naught...
