Tonight, a new twist on the old father/grandfather switching genre.

Summary

Grandpa and Marky are the best of friends and they share in practically everything. When Grandpa suffers a heart attack, Marky produces Grandpa's magic Chinese talisman and chants the magic words... There souls switch bodies so Grandpa in the 8 year old body can now go out to play baseball on Saturday! But, as Grandpa's body dies away, the two have to act fast so the right soul dies too!

Commentary

This body switching episode is as tired and overdone as the premise. The scenes where Grandpa's soul is in the kids body are particularly annoying. As is the shows catch phrase "Now you're kicking butt, Elvis." The only redeeming factors from this boring episode is a supporting performance by  Jeff B. Cohen (Goonies) and a eclectic score by Ralph Burns.
