Gordon Michael Woolvett was born in 1970 in Hamilton, Ontario.  He was just twelve years old when he got his first agent before attending the Theatre Aquarius and then going on to star in various commercials and theatre roles.

Gordon Woolvett One of his commercials was for McDonalds and Gordon reportedly commented that his older brother Jaimz only caught the acting bug after comparing his pay check from his job at McDonalds with that of Gordon's pay check from the McDonald commercials.

 

Gordon's first film role was in "Joshua Then & Now" in 1985.  His television credits are numerous including "Mysterious Island" filmed in New Zealand for the Family Channel, "Learning the Ropes" and "Peacekeepers".  In 1997 Gordon got the role as Reb in the series Deepwater Black/Mission Genesis by the Sci Fi Channel.  He has also made guest appearances in PSI Factor, FX, Kung Fu, Forever Knight and Sliders to name a few.  Gordon has had a spell hosting TV shows including Video & Arcade Top Ten for YTV and Wildside for Nickelodeon, a wildlife adventure series filmed in Africa which was on of Gordon's favourite hosting jobs. In 1990 Gordon was nominated for one of Canada's most prestigious acting awards, the Gemini (similar to the Emmys) for his role as a cancer patient in the TV movie "Princes in Exile".
Gordon's more recent made for television movies including "Ultimate Deception", "Mind Games" and "My Date with the Presidents Daughter" while Gordon has also starred in a number of feature films including "Clutch",  " The Highwayman" and most notably he played David in "Bride of Chucky".
