MISCELLANEOUS

 

	Gordon is a Trekkie and claims to be able to identify any Star Trek: The Next Generation episode by its first 10 seconds.  He also enjoys the TV series Lost In Space.
	Gordon worked with fellow Deepwater Black cast member Nicole deBoer in the Disney comedy, My Date With The Presidents Daughter, where they play a Bonnie & Clyde type couple stealing a car, robbing a convenience store and meeting the President of the United States.
	Gordon lives in California but while he shoots Andromeda he lives in Vancouver.
	For fun Gordon designs websites including a real state site for a friend and he has also built a hovercraft!
	When Gordon negotiated his contract for Andromeda with Tribune Entertainment he got a better deal because of the Internet.  Originally he was reaching a deal of a guarantee for one season when he found out that the show had been brought for two seasons.
	Gordon has an older brother Jaimz who has had roles in Unforgiven (he was the Schofield Kid), Road to Avonlea and Rosewood to his credit.  Both brothers were in the same episode of Kung Fu: The Legend Continues and both brothers have had guest appearances on My Secret Identity.
	Gordon enjoys snowboarding and has spent sometime in New Zealand boarding down the sides of volcanoes.
	Originally Gordon turned down the role of Harper in Andromeda as he didn't want to move back to Canada.
	In his spare time he enjoys writing  comedy, drama and particularly sci-fi stories.  He has written two screenplays, one called Tantalus.
	His favourite author is Michael Moorlock.
	Gary Oldman, Kirk and Michael Douglas and Patrick Stewart are actors whose work Gordon admires.  He also says he, "loved a really bad sci-fi movie starring non other than...Charlton Heston called Omega Man.  I think the idea of a bunch of bad zombies running around in sunglasses singing cheesy seventies tunes is just too cool."
	Laura Bertman who plays Trance in Andromeda was in an episode of Deepwater Black with Gordon called "Aurora"
