It's been quiet in Sunnydale after the death of The Master and the failiure to open the Hellmouth. Buffy has been away with her father in Los Angeles buying shoes and just being a normal 16 yr old. The episode opens with Willow and Xander walking along playing a game, then things begin to heat up, a kiss look iminant but that's thwarted by the unexpected arrival of a Vampire to spoil the special moment. But within seconds Buffy shows up and that vampire is dust. This episode revolves around the fact that Buffy still has not gotton over what The Master put her through emotionally and the turmoil of finding out that The Masters remains have been taken from their resting place in the cemetary, Buffy believes this to be a resurrection attempt and boy is she right... As per usual as things go in these situations Buffy plans to spoil the resurrection process by dropping in on the Annointed One and his friends. A fight ensues and Buffy 'Grinds the Masters remains' with a sledge hammer, meaning that the torment and torture is over leaving Buffy standing over the remains sobbing and Angel there to help her through it.

When a body Vanishes from a grave it causes a person to become suspicious but when Buffys first instincts that a vampire has risen from the grave are crushed by the mysterious tracks leading from the grave, she begins to think grave robber. Giles believes that someone may be raising a zombie army, although when Cordelia finds body parts in her hiding place (a dumpster) the Scooby Gang become baffled by the strange occurances, could a person really be hacking up the corpses of young girls? and if that's the case then why and who would be sick enough to complete such a task. Soon Willows fears come to light that it could be her friend Chris Epps and his ghoulish friend Eric trying to build the perfect girl for Chris' undead yet lonely brother Daryl. Daryl was once the star football player at Sunnydale high until a rock climbing accident where he fell to his dimise only to have his brother Chris bring him back from the dead... Daryl has led a sheltered life ever since in the basement of his mothers house and dreams for companionship and he's going to have it no matter what it takes. The boys plans come to a complete halt when they have all the parts to this dream date apart from the head, which needs to be fresh and Daryl believes there is only one head for him and that's the lead cheerleaders....... Cordelia! The Boys abduct Cordy from the football game and are about to hack off her head when Buffy saves the day... Xander saves Cordy from death by fire in one heroic action and all is well in Sunnydale once again. Giles and Jenny also go on their first date together in this episode and set a date for another.

Two new arrivals in town cause Angel to worry for Buffys safety for the Night of St. Vigeous is almost upon them and Buffys new enemy Spike is a force to be reconed with according to the Watcher's Diaries. Ontop of this Principal Snyder has ordered Buffy to work with another school 'Delinquent' to set up the parents evening, refreshments etc. Buffy believes that she shouldn't have to do this cause she's the slayer and confides in Willow who helps her to finish the decorations in time for Parents Evening... The Scooby Gang prepares for St. Vigeous and carves stakes while Buffy takes care of refreshments... Buffy asks Willow to keep her mother from meeting Snyder which all goes wrong when Spike decides St. Vigeous is too long to wait for and goes gung ho on Sunnydale high and the parent teachers night, Buffy takes charge, systematically taking out vamps left and right... Angel tries to fool Spike by offering Xander as the main course, that fails Spike is no fool and now Angel knows it... Both Xander and Angel flea into the night to think of another plan... meanwhile Buffy takes care of business inside until it comes down to a face off between Spike and Buffy... The fight seems to be going Spikes way until Joyce appears and hits him across the head with an axe, sending him sprawling across the floor at which point he decides enough is enough and runs, a Slayer with Family and friends is a formidible one indeed. In this episode we also see the demise of the Annointed One, Spike doesn't like rules.

Every household has the kind of parent that wants to do some good for their local high school but when Joyce decides to invite one of these exchange students to stay for the week but a healthy school outing takes her mind off this when an egyptian exhibit comes to Sunnydale and a Mummyfied corpse is the main attraction. Unfortunately when the corpse goes missing a strange young girl meets Buffy at the bus station instead of the boy she was expecting, Ampata captures Xanders heart and throughout the episode Ampata has to keep her secret from Xander. That she is the Inca Mummy Girl that went missing from the museum and to sustain her beauty she must feed off the life force of others.

Frat Boys... Not just frat boys, RICH frat boys and Cordelia is desperate to join their ranks at an exclusive frat party. Unfortunately to attain this right she must convice Buffy to come along and enjoy the wealthy oppertunities that a frat party has to offer. The only problem is to accumulate their wealth the frat house worships a demon to which they must make sacrifices every 20 years or so... For Buffy and Cordy their time is almost up.

An old friend of Giles' arrives in Sunnydale on the one night that Vampires decide to have off. For Buffy and the gang though this proves for a chance to have some unsolicited fun but Buffy being the social misfit is recruited into supervising some children on a Trick or Treat excursion, along with Willow and Xander. The gang buy their costumes from a new store in town 'Raynes' and well come night time the people wearing these costumes become what the wearer of these costumes would have been like. Willow dresses up as a ghost and becomes one, Buffy wears a 17th century ladies ballroom gown and Xander goes all commando. Spike getting wind of the situation decides to take the Slayer down while she's meak and helpless... So Giles' darker side must come forth in order to stop this thing from getting out of Control.

When an old friend stops by to say he's moving to Sunnydale, Buffy couldn't be happier but Angel becomes suspicious of the newcomer trying to find out all he can about this guy. Buffy is way happy that he's here and takes meteoric steps to find out what's been happening and how he's been but little does Buffy know that he's dieing and his main goal for being in Sunnydale is to hand the Slayer over to Spike on a silver platter so that he himself can become one of the undead. Stumbling upon this information the Scooby Gang inform Buffy that her friend is part of some Vampire Worshipping cult at which point she refuses to believe but she can't just ignore the warning and to her dismay the Scoobies are right, so she must do her Slayer duty and stop Spike from slaughtering all those hopeless wannabe goth teenagers.

The truth about Giles and his mispent youth comes forth in this episode when a demon comes to town after possessing a friend of Giles'. This demon is attracted to those who bear Etruscan tattoo. In Giles' former years he dabbled in the occult, the black arts to be precise along with Ethan Rayne ('Halloween'). This demon can only enter those who happen to be unconcious or dead at which point it possesses the host until it has done it's deed. The only problem is when Buffy knocks the creatures host unconcious who did it leap into? The Answer is Jenny Calander and she makes one wicked demon.

As Spike and Drusilla become more obsessed with offing the Slayer they increase their efforts by calling in a clan of assassins to do the job for them. Meanwhile Buffy's relationship with Angel becomes a little more intense as they fend off one of these assassins while on a date Ice skating, unfortunately for Buffy the new girl in town (Kendra) mistakes Buffy for a vampire (Partly because she was seen to be kissing one), The episode ends with Kendra about to put a blade through Buffy's skull uttering the words 'I Am Kendra The Vampire Slayer.'

With the cliffhanger from the previous episode Buffy must convince Kendra to put her weapon down so they can go and see Giles and get some answers. Meanwhile in Spikes lair they are preparing with for a ritual to make Drusilla strong again which isn't what Buffy and the Scooby Gang are about to let happen. With Kendra the new slayer around they should have no trouble defeating Spike but Kendras Old School ways are what hold her back when it comes to rescueing a vampire such as Angel once was.

Imagine the most perfect personality you could ever meet... now times that by 100 and smile. Joyce Summers has met a man, possibly a match but Buffy isn't too sure.. how can someone be so perfect? Is he really all that? well Buffy is determined to find out and make sure that he's the right man for her mother. The Scooby Gang adore Ted, for his cookies and pizza mainly but they still like him but Buffy's cheating brings out Ted's dangerous side, the golf club smacks against his leg a number of times as he swears he'll teach Buffy a lesson for her trecherous ways but when he reads her diary and nails her window shut, that's the last straw she takes matters into her own hands and when Ted strikes her, she fights back, kicking Ted down a flight of stairs to his death... The Scoobies can't believe it so they intend to prove Buffy's innocence by finding out all they can about this Ted character and apart from numerous body parts and Cookies laced with an element found in LSD they have more than enough evidence to prove Buffys innocence.

Invasion of the body snatchers time at Sunnydale high. A demon sets up camp beneath Sunnydale High and one by one it's tiny (ugly) little off spring begin to take control of the students in Buffy's Biology class. Each class member must split into a pair and look after an egg as if it were a child, feed it, change it an wash it. Unfortunately for Buffy she has to be a single parent because she didn't turn up for class, which Buffy sees as an Oment that she is doomed to end up like her mother. Things go from bad to worse as two vampires show up in Sunnydale with a yankering to off the Slayer.

As Buffy's Birthday arrives, she has a prophetic dream in which Angel is staked by Drusilla. The dream plagues Buffy for the rest of the day. Although a birthday in Sunnydale would not be complete without some dramatic Suprise. On the way to the Suprise Birthday Party the Scoobys have planned for Buffy she intercepts a package that is supposed to be a presant from Spike to Drusilla. When the scoobys open the box they were shocked to find a living arm that grabs Buffy by the throat, none of them can identify the 'gift' apart from Angel who called it a part of 'The Judge' a being brought forth to rid the world of it's humanity. As Jenny explains that the arm needs to be disposed of far away from sunnydale, that it could take weeks or even months, Buffy can't believe her ears as Angel volunteers to get rid of the arm. Jenny agrees whole heartedly for reasons which remain secret until later on in the episode when we discover that she belongs to the gypsy clan that had cursed Angel in the first place. As Buffy caves into the idea of Angel leaving sunnydale, she heads to the docks with him, confessing her love for him but as Angel is about to return the decloration the two are ambushed and end up in the water. Arriving back at Angels place they finish where they left off at the docks, only this time it goes further and the episode ends with a cliffhanger, Angel awakens in pain and thunder crashes.

As Angel wakes from his sleep we find out that One True Moment of happiness will break the Gypsy curse that was placed on him and cause him to lose his soul once again. With the judge in one piece and Angelus back on Spikes team (if not completely seeing as Spike is in a wheelchair 'Whats My Line Pt.2'} nothing can go wrong... or can it... Buffy has an idea on how to off the judge but she can't get her head around Angel becoming Angelus again, she has a dream in which Jenny appears. This betrayel, this lie that Jenny has been living for the past year, her name is Illyana and she belongs to the Gypsy clan that cursed Angel in the beginning. So the texts say that The Judge can be killed by no mortal weapon/armies, that was then, this is now... armed with a weapon from an Army Artilery Buffy goes off to kick some purple Judge toosh.

A savage beast is attacking the people of Sunnydale, it's killed once and it's going to kill again. Buffy must stop it before it does... All indications point to the beast being a werewolf but who is it, Larry certainly acts like an animal and he was bitten by a dog so it must be him or could it be Oz??? The reality is, that the werewolf is Oz and to protect Willow he has to lie to her which causes willow to have some hang ups about herself. With the information that Oz is the werewolf, Buffy must keep a Werewolf hunter off Oz's trail.

When Xander gets dumped by Cordy on Valenti nes day.. Xander wants revenge and revenge is what he's going to have with the help of Amy (Season 1 ep 'Witch'). With Amy's help Xander will cast a love spell on Cordy making her fall hopelessly in love with him till it hurts and then he'll dump her. Unfrotunately as things always go with Xanders plans, the spell backfires causing every female in Sunnydale apart from Cordy to fall head over heals in love with him, this causes complications when he refuses Willows advances and well Willow armed with an axe and out for blood is somthing to be believed.

Get your tissues out... this is a weepy one. As Angels torment of the Slayer becomes more obvious he starts attacking Buffys emotions and friends... Jenny Calander tries to get close to the Scoobies and Giles once again but fails and this will be her final give to the team as she plans to recreate the curse that will give Angel his soul back. Unfortunately for Ms. Calander Angelus finds out about her plans Via Dru and sets to work on destroying all Jenny is working for and indeed Jenny herself. In which Angelus succeeds and Jenny dies at the hands of Buffy's ex. As a rather cruel joke Angelus leaves a rose on Giles' table with a note reading 'Upstairs', which leads to Jennys dead body causing Giles to take matters into his own hands, to destroy the menace that is Angelus. Buffy saves Giles from getting slaughtered by Angelus and confesses that without Giles she would not be able to do her job. From this moment on is where the bond between Giles and Buffy grows.

Buffy gets the flu. Her slaying begins to Suffer as the Scoobies have to save her from the wrath of Angelus. Buffy collapses and the Scoobies rush her to hospital but Buffys fear of hospitals causes the Scoobies to worry, you see her cousin/best friend Cecilia died in hospital as Buffy watched her gasp for breath, screaming for help. Buffy is about to find out what was behind these screams as the presance that took her cousins life, is now killing the kids at Sunnydale General. His name is Der Kinderstod and only a fairy tale book and a larger dose of the flu can help Buffy save these kids, a little brute force and some neck snapping does the trick too.

A tragic chapter in Sunnydales history comes to light when two spirits begins to possess people and act out the scene that led to a teachers murder and a students suicide and they won't stop until they get it right. It's a graduate type storyline, where a student and a teacher fall for each other unfrotunately the teacher realises her error and tries to break off the relationship (Which is a felony in many states, except Alabama :P ), that turns sour when the boy takes a gun and shoots her, then he goes into the dance hall and commits suicide,putting a bullet through the back of his head. When the teachers spirit has the chance she calls upon Buffy and Angelus, taking over Angelus' body they reinact the scene, Angelus getting shot Buffy going to the dance hall to finish the scene, luckily for Buffy and the Scoobies, Angelus being a vamp doesn't die that easily and the teacher (angelus) and the Student (Buffy) Work it all out. Awwwwwwwwww.

Sunnydale Swim team, the swimming season is in progress and the swimmers are dissapearing one by one and their has to be an answer, you've probably guessed that they've turned into so Creature of the black lagoon stylie monster? Well you would be correct, you see the coach has been pumping chemicals into the steam room to get ultra performance out of the team members and unfortunately for undercover Xander he's been getting his dosage of the stuff aswell.
