game as the Co Operators (COO) defeated the Hocking Kongs (HOC) by the score
of 9 to 5 at Turner Field.

cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his 2nd of the season) in the 3rd
inning and banged out a single in the 4th inning. Co Operators rapped out 13
hits for the afternoon.

Reed(1-0) finished the game allowing 5 runs in the victory. Mike Hampton(0-1)
was the loser. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 12 hits and 7 walks in 6 and
2/3 innings.

'I felt great out there today,' Piazza said, 'Maybe I should make a regular
habit of getting to bed on time!'
