Skramalonians 2, Incarnations 1

Kerry Wood(1-0) and John Burkett(0-2) treated the Skramalonians fans to a fine
pitching duel at Pro Player Stadium.  The Skramalonians (SKR) eventually
emerged as victors over the Slattery Incarn (SLA) by the score of 2 to
1.

Skramalonians had 2 runs cross the plate in the 3rd inning.  That was all Wood
needed.  After the 3rd inning, neither team was able to score.  

Kyle Farnsworth recorded the save, his 1st.

Stadium.

Jason Schmidt(1-0) had a solid outing for Skramalonians.  He surrendered 8

with Carrara and the Skramalonians (SKR) coming out on top of the Slattery
Incarn (SLA) 2 to 1.

Skramalonians scored 1 run in the 6th inning.  Slattery Incarn had a chance in
the 9th but they came up short.  Braden Looper was credited with his 1st
save.  

Steve Slattery was in a sour mood after the game.  'Even you guys up in the
press box know why we lost this game. We made too many mistakes.'

was all the runs Shane Reynolds(1-0) needed.  Slattery Incarn went down
without a fight in the bottom of the 9th.
