The triple goddess is represented by the three cycle of the maiden, the mother and the crone. It is also depict by the moon cycle, the waxing, full and waning phrase. The cycle never ends and with each complete cycle, the crone dies and is reborn into the maiden.
 

The maiden has two side - the bright and the dark side.
The bright side is associated with the spring, bursting with energy, carefree and wild. The bright maiden who waxes move towards the sun, into liberation. She is the risk-taker, the warrior; strong, and independent and often careless, acts on impluse. She represents the beginning, excitement, new paths. She is the seductress, the enchantess. She is Diana, Artemis, Athene. There is also a side of the bright maiden tht is cold, unemotional, hard and superficial. In society, the bright maiden can be found in athletics, lesbians, business entrepreneur, feminists.
 

The dark side of the maiden is associated with autumn, the waning crescent moving towards the Underworld.She is the seductress, the enchantess, the priestess. She gives off a magnetic pull, a magical feel. She is the sensitive lover, the vulnerable and can be a vitim to overbearing people; being introsepective, passive, self-sacrificing and deluded. She is Persephone, the Mermaid, the Sorceress, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderalla. She is the soft and tender woman, who thinks she is incomplete without a man, and is dependent and weak, mold by the expectation of patriarcial society.

Take time to renew yourself. Take a nice bath, pampering yourself with herbs like lavender and laurel. In the bath or shower, visualize the water cleansing all the stale and negative energies and chant :
