Dukes, MA. He md 26 Dec 1639 in Dedham, Nor., MA Ann Baker who was b.
1618 in Eng. They are the parents of Anna Bayes who was b. 1644 in
Dedham, Nor., MA. Anna md Andrew Newcomb. Source: "Hist. of Martha's
Vineyard" - Banks. Farmer in "A Genealogical Register of the First
Settlers of New England' , p. 30 says that Thomas Bayes of Dedham
1643, Boston 1645, where his son Thomas was born 1645.b 1644 Dedham,
MA [Hugh Zorger]b 1642 Edgartown, MA [Ron Ray]dau of John & Anna
(Baker) Lischer [Aprille McKay] yet no explanation aboutthe surname
