He sighed as he began to sweep the next hallway. He didn't like the accusations being portrayed on his expense. It was not appreciated by his standards. He heard voices, and had no conscience. According to the books, he should have committed three murders by the time he was ten years old. A pure homicidal maniac. But to his adopted father, he was worth more then that. He tried to be a good Christian, and he worked hard at it, but he had no conscience. And his curse of the Flash was not helping much either. But he was the greatest criminal profiler ever created. And he was only twenty five years of age. Two hours later, most of the lights had gone out and he watched Agent Janson leave his office. He waited at least another hour before he opened his office. He closed it immediately behind him. The door was immediately locked behind him before he began to look through the drawers. He walked to his filing cabinet just to find a lock on it. He tugged on the handle with no luck of being able to get it open.
*Flash*
The paperclip was shoved into the lock and was jiggle. A click was heard and the door opened?
*Flash*
Jack suddenly turned his attention to the desk and saw a small case of paper clips. He grabbed on of them and bent it. He shoved it into the lock and began to jiggle it around. He pulled on the handle and it flew open. The first file was the kidnapping. He opened it up and flipped through it.
*Flash*
Why would the parents be killed with no ransom note? Unless they were sent to the god parents. But still no explanation of why would the kidnapper do that?
*Flash*
Jack pulled himself out of his thoughts and placed the folder under his jacket. He walked out of the office without closing the door. He looked both ways to make sure none of the night watchmen were wandering about. When he secured the area he started down the hallway and the elevator. He made it all the way to his own office without being seen. The first thing he turned on was his computer. He placed each page onto the scanner and loaded them onto the computer. After he was done he returned the files to Agent Janson's office. He did a quick clean up on his room and finished up his work. He made sure nobody was around and returned to his office and locked the door. He immediately opened each file and read through them. By the time he was finished it was one in the morning. Far beyond to when he was supposed to go home. He made sure to shut off all of his lights so the security guards would not suspect him.
*Flash*
Both parents were shot in the head, and no ransom left.
*Flash*
Jack sat back in his chair and thought about the case.
*Flash*
No ransom note left. What kind of kidnapper would not leave a ransom note? There is something they are missing. There is something not right with this case.
*Flash*
Jack printed out all the information from the folders and placed them into his trench coat. He walked out without being seen and got into his car. He drove to the house where the murders had occurred. He closed the door and broke into the house moving beyond the police tape. He checked his watch which read two in the morning. He walked into the dining room and saw blood on the walls behind the two seats. He frowned as he looked at the chalk marks just below the tables.
*Flash*
"Do you want some more darling?" the wife asked handing the casserole to her husband. "Yes I would, thank you." He was about to reach out and grab it when the bullet flew into his temple causing him to fall to the floor?
