History:


Cathy Good kept in contact with a number of her friends from college. Erin Gilligan, one of her closer friends, lived down in Oceanside. Other friends such as Gary Wilens, Michael Kramer to name a couple lived way out in New York and Connecticut and weren’t as frequently spoken to. However, Cathy remembered enough of Michael’ pictures and stories to recognize him despite his disguise as the new superhero The Golden Dragon. Cathy called Erin to see if Gilligan saw through the disguise as easily as she had to find that Michael had already revealed his powers to Erin long before he publicly appeared as G.D.
As the next few Months rolled by Cathy saw more of her friends and their friends gaining fantastic powers. Erin went on vacation to Ireland and returned as The Blond Banshee. An angel from heaven joined the team shortly there-after and became known as The Seraph. Cathy’s own ex-boyfriend and buddy Johnathan Harte survived a werewolf attack and became Lycanthrope. Other heroes such as the Weatherman, Cyberbolt and Coldsnap entered the public eye. Eventually and inevitably a team of heroes was formed known as The Force of Nature.
As Cathy followed the adventures of her friends, she found herself feeling envious of their remarkable abilities. Fortunately, fate was playing a hand in her favor and she would soon find herself possesed of powers equaling those of her former colleagues. A raffle was held at the office Cathy worked in and the Grand prize was an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii. Cathy thought it was a lost cause but she bought a ticket anyway. Her hopes of winning were almost evaporated when the drawing revealed another person as the winner. Fortunately the co-worker in question had just quit the job due to a family move and was unable to accept the prize. The Officials then pulled Cathy’s name randomly and before she knew it she was on a plane to the islands.
