EPISODE-4 Crunch,Crunch,Munch,Munch......... That's precisely the sound my wife heard in her mind.The sound of biting on crisp potato chips.And the scenario was not us sitting in a movie hall or in the park.My wife was worshipping in tongues and telling me what secrets the Holy Spirit was revealing to her. We had been into this session for an hour or so.It was quite interesting when suddenly I felt an urge for food and got myself a packet of chips from the kitchen and started munching happily.A couple of seconds later,the revelations stopped abruptly and my wife said she could hear only munching sounds in her mind. I felt ashamed of having done such a silly thing.I stopped my snack right away. After a while the Holy Spirit gently spoke again,"Have you ever seen such a thing when you go for worship or when other prophets speak?You sit so decently,sometimes on your knees too;praising God all the while the preaching or prophecy goes on. Ever had a snack then? It was true.I had never done such a thing before,but hearing Jesus/The Holy Spirit speak to us day and night through my wife,I had taken it as a routine affair forgetting that I was on Holy ground when God spoke. Remember God speaking to Moses at the burning bush and later to Joshua saying,"Remove your shoes from your feet,for you are on Holy ground." Moral Reverance during worship and when God speaks through His servants is very important and cannot and should not be taken lightly.Often we tend to take it casually;we joke sometimes ridiculing the speaker or prophet or just act plain silly.God in His mercy and great love overlooks this often,but it's wise to remember the Word of God which says "Remove your..........Holy ground" and give God due reverance. |
