AGENDA for the Weekend:
Friday was the 'Casual Get Together' night downstairs at the Country Garden (formerly the Pillars) Restaurant at 8:00pm.
Friday Report: I just arrived home from the Country Garden..it's 3:22am Saturday morning...I didn't want to go home..Whew! I also talked so much I have a sore throat...It was great to see everyone...The place was packed with familiar faces. Betty-Lou was slinging drinks and Kara was welcoming everyone...The first thing I noticed was how good everyone looked. It didn't seem like another 10 years had passed since the last reunion. There was a lot of mingling. I took quite a few pictures and Noreen took even more. I didn't have a digital camera so I'll have wait for my pictures to get developed. Sorry guys. For the Dinner tonight I'll have my camcorder so I can use my video capture to post some images right away. The one thing that most of us were talking about was family and kids. Some people had to leave earlier to check on their kids, others had relatives to see. I personally have not seen Lee Welch, John Tomlinson, Ken Stewart or Tammy Prather almost 20 years. They are all doing well by the way. I have to go to bed...I'll post more tommorrow.
Bowling at 1:00pm Saturday afternoon. Dinner and Dance Saturday night... Cocktails began at 5:00pm.
Sunday was the 'Family Day' at the Golden Swimming Pool.
Saturday and Sunday Report: Hi Everyone! It's Sunday May 20, 10:56pm the Reunion is over but not in our hearts or memories...Friday night was great! Saturday night was incredible! Bill Sadler had everyone rolling in the aisles with his banter and quick wit...I'm just glad I didn't kill the crowd when it was my turn to speak...Just kidding!...I was pleasantly surprised how many trivia buffs we had in the Grad. Everyone I've talked to had a great time...I'm so tired right now...Damn my middle aged body! We left the Senior's Centre at 5am after clean up (Thanks Corey, Larena and Jerome, Kerry, Nor, et al for helping)...and met everone at the pool at noon Sunday... I know a lot of people have or will be heading home soon...I'll try to have a few pictures ready in the next day for them to see... Then you can print them out and save development charges. Noreen has taken a lot of photos as well and she will send hers to me after she gets home! A bigger update will be ready tommorrow evening... Promise! Quick thanks to Kara, Pat, Meischelle, Rhonda, Betty-Lou and Rob, Bill, Bill Braisher (DJ) B.J. and the Lions club (Bar) and so many others I can't focus on because I'm dragging my butt to bed...-Ken Dang
