Re-Living the Golden Years with Corey Walker

Schedule Change for Re-Living the Golden Years and Much More Golden Years

Wanna know what I played on a recent show? Then check out, my weekly playlists online! Weekly playlists are usually added on the Wednesday following my Tuesday show (time permitting).

Re-Living the Golden Years with Corey Walker is a weekly, two hour radio program which features the greatest variety in old country, western, bluegrass and gospel music in all of Northern British Columbia. My Saturday show, Much More Golden Years features a mixture of old time country, pop, folk, rock, easy listening and in rare cases, select jazz. Both shows feature newer, independent artists as well in the country, western and folk genres, as that's an important part of what community radio is all about!

You can hear "Re-Living the Golden Years" live every Tuesday morning from 7:30am-9:00am on CFUR 88.7 FM (available only in parts of the City of Prince George), 101.5 Cable FM (available to all cable subscribers in the greater Prince George area), and around the world at cfur.ca . Just follow the links on the CFUR site to establish your streaming connection.

Who is CFUR 88.7 FM?

CFUR is a campus community radio station located at the University of Northern British Columbia across from the Northwood Wintergarden in the centre of the Agora building. CFUR is operated by EARS, the Education Alternate Radio Society, a registered non-profit society supported by mandatory semesterly student fees, memberships and donations from the community. CFUR aims to bring good quality, fresh programming that can not be heard on the commerical radio stations in Prince George. While not just an oldies station, CFUR does have several oldies shows, including my own "From the Vaults of Radio History" . In addition, CFUR has a variety of new music, spoken word programming, editorials and whatever else their talented DJ's bring to the microphone. Please note that while I am affiliated with CFUR as a volunteer disc jockey and volunteer coordinator, this is my own personal site, and is not the official CFUR/EARS website, which is available at cfur.ca . . Therefore, any opinions expressed on this site are my own, and not those of the station.

Important Note

I have started adding graphics, and have put several playlists online. I am working hard to try and have this site "completed" by the end of February, or early March of 2004. But of course, no promises. Once it's complete, I'll get rid of this stupid note.
