D&D Info
In Pantheon, all types of beings are welcome though they are categorized into several different levels.
Mortals:
This is the generic term for normal folk... the people who run the bars tend the farms serve as soldiers it even includes the minor heroes. (Note: Mortal covers normal people from all the normal races Humans, Elves, Dwarves, etc.). Mortal characters have anywhere between 18-100 creation points for determining statistics.
Immortal:
These are the legendary heroes’ people who have abilities above and beyond the norm of their race (as in immortal legends); it also covers supernatural creatures that are not normally thought of as "mortal" races, such as true immortals, Valkyrie, vampires, etc. Immortal characters have anywhere between 100-140 creation points for determining statistics.
Demi-Gods:
This is the first level of god hood it is used to describe characters that moved beyond the ranks of the immortal heroes but are not full gods yet it is also used to describe children of moral and deity parentage. Demi gods can have anywhere between 140-180 creation points for their statistics.
Lesser Deities:
This is the first level of full godhood... the characters usually have a simple duty that they take care of on a grand scale, examples of lesser deities include Hestia, Anubis, and Sif. Lesser Deities normally have between 160-180 creation points for their statistics.
Intermediate Deities:
This is the second level of full godhood... possessing more power than the lesser deities they also possess greater responsibilities. Apollo, Aphroditie, Baldur, and Freya are all examples of Intermediate deities. Intermediate deities normally have between 180-200 character creation points.
Greater Deity:
This is the highest level of being... a supreme god as it were... their powers dwarf most others of their kind... they are definitely beings you do not wish to cross in any normal circumstances. Greater Gods have over 200 character creation points.
It should be noted that Generations are irrelivent to gods... the only thing that matters to them is level of power. All full gods truely start at the level of power they are created in (ex. Beta Ray Bill was recreated by Odin as a Greater God in power, Heimdahl was born as an intermediate god) and normally it requires tremendous effort or a great event to move up the scale from there (ex. Thor's power increasing to Odin like levels when Thor recieved the Odinforce, Re-hokney inheriting the power and position of Ra, Beta ray Bills Rebirth at from the Heiopotians, the frenzied training of Ares, And Ragnarocks campaign of Genocide are all examples of gods changing their power level).
With this in mind it should be noted that a majority of newer Deities will be of lesser or intermediate rank still incredibly powerful when compared to many other creatures, but because of their limited expirence they still have room to grow.
