Christmas is Mystical...


Christmas is mystical...Christmas is magical...
Christmas is actually quite miraculous.
Why do we feel electrified when we go outside on Christmas eve?
What causes us to sense the excitement?
The presents?
The family and friends?
Santa Claus?
We have an inborn sense of what is to come...
and what actually took place on this very night many years ago...
God our Father chose Mary, a lowly handmaid, to be the mother of His only son,
and on this very night, she gave birth to a King.
What a miracle it was for our whole world to receive a Savior,
who would one day lay down His life for us...

Think about it for a moment...

This little baby was born into our world,
a peacemaker, a peacegiver, a healer, our Savior and Redeemer,
The Messiah,
and most importantly,
God's covenant with Adam to forgive sin...
Is it any wonder that Christmas,
the celebration of Jesus Christ's birth,
is mystical, magical, and most importantly,
miraculous?
