These "Brainy" inverters can be programmed to
perform a multitude of tasks - including automatic generator start and
stop, automatic load sensing, and generatot support. When connected to a
renewable energy system, they can feed excess energy, back to the utility
grid. All Trace SW series inverters include a built-in, fully automatic,
three-stage battery charger, specially designed to bring maximum charge to
the batteries while using minimum generator time and fuel.

Inverters Why is a Sinewave
Inverter better? Electrical equipment is designed to operate from a sinewave mains power
source. Only a sinewave inverter generates mains type power with the
correct peak and mean voltages guaranteeing reliable, optimum performance
for electrical equipment. A sinewave inverter ensures higher effciency
for the electrical system and extends the battery life. Non-sinewave
inverters produce incorrect voltages which may cause the connected
equipement to have operating difficulties or not run at all.
Non-sinewave inverters produce high levels of harmonic distortion,
which can cause electrical interference and audio hum as well as
overheating the connected equipment.
