No Water, No Fuss (No bull!) |

It's called the "Classic" and for good reason. Its timeless design (with its wooden seat and hand-crafted, vitreous china pedestal) is a complement to any bath room decor. It's a proven, patented design that has made the Classic the market leader in domestic composting toilets. It's cheaper than all the rest (other than our own "Compact" of course) and has the lowest cost of ownership of any brand. Oh, and it comes wih everything you need to install it yourself, including a manual that anyone can follow.

| Faeces, urine and toilet paper, (not kitchen wastes) are collected in a chamber directly below the toilet pedestal, or in the case of the Compact, in the chamber beneath the seat. In all Nature-Loo models, air is circulated through the chamber by means of a low-powered fan, removing odours, evaporating liquids (90% of all volume in human waste) and aiding the decomposition process. In both the Classic and Compact 'Plus' models, the MicroFlush system does the solids with enzymes that greatly speed composting and reduce any stray odours. The physical process is 'aerobic' (with air) as opposed to 'anaerobic' (without air, as in septic systems). In aerobic decomposition, the only by-prodycts are carbon dioxide and water vapour. No foul odour is created. By contrast, anaerobic as used in septic tanks and sewage treatment plants, will create foul-smelling gases such as sulphur dioxide (rotten egg gas). The nature of the aerobic process also discourages the growth of - and will eventually kill - pathogens and malevolent bacteria. Ventilation is a crucial part of the process. It prevents odours from entering the toilet room, accelerated the decomposition process through increased oxygen flow, and aids evaporation. |

But we didn't compromise on quality of functionality - in fact, the Compact offers exactly the same 'no-smell', 'no-fuss' performance as the Classic.
It's designed for infrequent use such as in holiday homes, camp sites, shearing sheds and remote work sites, and is configured to sit on the slab or floor. |
