The slave girls go out a hunting

The rules made up online require that a girl beg for the collar of the Master she wishes. And beg release when she wants to get rid of him. It is clear why such a tradition has occurred. In the novels most slaves are either bred or become enslaved after battle. A few beg for slavery, often as an alternative to some dreadful fate like dying of thirst in a desert. Begging for a collar in western cultures is seen as the only option that is viable by most lifestyle Goreans. This tradition however would seem to be utterly ungorean in actual fact. It leaves the women in the relationships doing the *hunting* role.

The men do no Mastering and no chasing. They simply sit around, insisting that slaves please them. If one reads the books, one will note that the men certainly *Master* the women, and leave them begging for their touch. They only await pleasuring with any women who are already their slave or a slave they have hired, for example the services of a slave come as part of the deal if you drink in a tavern. Even in these cases the men usually take the time to arouse the slave, obviously relishing this. The argument is that on the planet Gor, women would be forced by fear of punishment to learn her *slave belly* Here she must have that burning desire to serve and please of her own violation, and she must attract the attention of the *few* real Gorean men that there are.

He will then decide if she is intelligent and pleasing enough to give her any attention. If he finds her amusing or of any value at all, then he may, (it’s unlikely), but just may bother to allow her to serve him. This puts the *slaves* into the proactive role in the relationship, and is in fact utterly at loggerheads with the philosophy of the novels where the men went out, sought what they required and mastered the women so they had no choice but to submit to their slavery. There was no self motivation in the books, the girls fought and screamed and struggled, until finally they so loved their slavery, nothing would persuade them to relinquish it.
