I hate you and I’m not talking to you! Ner ner, ner ner ner!

A frequent occurrence is replying to some comment on a forum, and engaging in debate, and then terminating the debate by stating that they will not read the reply or respond to it. This would in most groups lead one to assume that the argument is lost. This is a curious anomaly again with the Gorean books, as the heroes in them tend to fight to the death, (that is if they don’t use chicanery.)

They certainly would not churlishly state that they will debate no further, and this attitude seems a long way from the behaviour of men and rather closer to that of piqued teenage girls.

As words are the only way of fighting in the medium of the Internet it is interesting to note how often this happens with a group of people who state they are different to the norm by virtue of being real men. Of course as I pointed out before, those moderating the forum will dispose of awkward questioners by banning them, with a few insulting remarks that the those they debate with cannot then respond to.

So much time is spent interacting in chat rooms, or *taverns*, and holding online discussions and engaging in online flame wars and producing websites, it really must be surmised that these *Masters* and *slaves* have far too much time on their hands. One particular Gorean guru has written such prodigiously long essays, with such mammoth input it really must be just about all he does. It is hard to believe that he manages to hold down a job as well as producing all these writings, let alone engage in any other leisure pursuit.
