*June 09, 2000*

Well, the move is over and I am once again returning to the tasks at hand in cyberworld. My new place is a thousand time nicer than the last and even my pesky cat seems happier. I hope to be able to add more entries now that things are beginning to slow down for me.

The kids lost their grandfather recently. What a stressful time they had since it was the first time they had experienced a death that close in the famliy. My son was not in a great frame of mind over it all and my daughter, bless her heart, was full of questions. Everyone was wonderful about it all.

 

*June 25, 2000*

Well the court case that has been plaguing my life for over three years is finally drawing to a close. Due to some rather surprising developments, this second trial lasted half a day before concluding the same as the first and sentencing proceeds for the accused sometime in August. I had thought I would feel much ore at peace but I do not. I guess maybe it will take a little time to adjust before it feels like it's all over, then the healing begins.

I regret I have not worked on this journal for some time but this time of year has always been a little frantic and leaves me very little time for myself. I hope that next month will prove to be a little slower because I tire very quickly of a fast paced life.
