Scary Movie
- ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!
Blade
- Excellent movie! Well done..(applaud, applaud)...
Welseley Snipes did an excellent job in this one. I enjoyed the action from the very beginning. I found the ending to be a wee bit predictable however. (Mind you I usually do.) Plot was okay, had a few good laughs, good action sequences. Despite the unusual version of Vampirism, I enjoyed the chemistry between all the characters. I'm not as familiar with the comic book storyline so I can't verify how true it was to it .

Interview with a Vampire
- not as good as the book but a must see if not own!!
I found this to be as close to the book as possible. Mind you, most books don't translate very well into movies. Although I myself was leery when I heard that they had cast Tom Cruise as Lestat, I have to say that I think he did an amazing job. It is an enjoyable vampire movie from start to finish. My only complaint was the portrayal of Armand. Although I love Antonio Bandaras' acting and feel he did a good job, it just wasn't the same Armand as the book. Not even close.(mind you the man does look good as a long haired vampire!!!!)

Vampire in Brooklyn
- good for laughs and more!
What can I say? I laughed my ass off at this one! I thought the leading lady was a bit over dramatised though. Not sure if that was intentional or not but found it took away from the feel of the movie in several spots. Not enough to stop me from watching over and over again. I was really impressed by Eddy Murphy in this one...haven't liked him in a movie this much since Golden Child....

Bram Stoker's Dracula
- Excellent, a must have!!
There is nothing I can say about this movie except ...WOW. I freely admit I never read the book...but this is one of my all time favourite "Dracula" stories. It's an emotional rollercoaster.

Dracula: Dead and Lovin' It!!
- Mel Brooks, does it again!
Can't...breathe...laughing...too hard......>choke<.......

The Crow
- A truly dark romantic experience!
I was drawn in Eric's world when I watched this and was hopefully lost. (But I think that the entire world lost something much greater when Brandon died.) This movie although predictable in plot created a wonderful anti-hero atmosphere that reminded me how precious and rare true love really is.

The Crow: City Of Angels
- Darker than the first and meant to stand on it's own. Ash is wonderfully...innocent...
Ok, it's nothing like the first one except in concept but I was warned about that before I saw it. Ash is NOT Eric! He couldn't be, but everyone's main complaint was just that. Personally that didn't bother me at all. What did however was the over use of S&M scenes. I wouldn't have minded if they had served some purpose but I believe the type of society was established LONG before these scenes.

Nightbreed
- A classic must see! Myridian, take me away?...
Original, unique, totally fantasy. This low budget film blew me away with it's story. I shudder to thnk what could be done with today's graphics and special effects but for it's time it was realy good.

The Lost Boys
- an oldie but still an all time favourite!
When this movie came to theaters everyone had only one complaint..and that was the choice not to elongate the incisor teeth but instead chose the one closest to the front set. I believe this was done for aesthetics. It certainly did make it easier to see. Other than that, I remember absolutely loving this movie then and I still do.

Nomads
- an old movie starring Pierce Brosnan...but it's wonderfully twisted...
Nomads is the story of a sociologist who discovers ancient spirits...wanderers...and what happens to those who run into them. The entire stroy is told by his character long after his death....it's worth a look to those wholike originality and don't care too much about budget and special effects.

The Wraith
- An earlier Charlie Sheen flick. Twisted and full of action.
Although it's been quite awhile since I have seen this movie I can still remember the car. A wonderful "revenge" story.

Labyrinth
- just plain fun...and a great soundtrack too!
"Smell BAD"... I love this movie. It is one of my all time favourites. I think the best thing about this movie is that there is something in it for everyone.

From Dusk 'Til Dawn
- Naughty, naughty...
I'm not sure what I think of this one at times. I laughed, I felt ill......

Vampire$ (John Carpenter)
- WELL DONE JAMES!!
Imagine my surprise at how much I enjoyed this movie. It was a very nice twist on the Vampire Hunter story although I'm not sure what I think of the "Ritual" ending just yet...

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
- probably the only SERIOUS version of this story I ever enjoyed...
All I can say is that I thought it was well done for the most part. I'm not a huge fan of the Frankenstein Monster in general but I actually enjoyed this movie version of it.

Wolf
- a must have for any collector!! Truly dark romance at it's best!
Loved it, loved it, loved it. Hokey, charming and funny all in one!!! Jack's acting once again make you want to believe and this time they found a villian who can keep up with him. The chemistry between the actors is what I enjoyed most about this one.
