Adding to Our Guestbook
In the past, our guestbook resided on a form-dependent server with many other guestbooks, and it was vulnerable to spam robots which filled it up and prevented legitimate entries. We have removed our guestbook from this server and are now only accepting entries via email. If you'd like to include an entry, send it to us via email along with a statement that you give us permission to add your message to our guestbook.
Thanks for your understanding and support.
About Our Old Message Boards
(Inside the Web, The Gathering Place DID/MPD Forum at Delphi, our Excite Clubs, our Yahoo!
Groups, and Network 54)
At this time, several message forums and services affiliated with our site have been
dicontinued. These include our boards at Inside the Web, our Delphi forum, and our Excite Clubs
(Excite discontinued its Clubs service as of December 29, 2000). We discontinued our Yahoo! Groups
effective December 31, 2002, partially because we prefer web-based forums to those which are
email-based.
As of September 20, 2004, we have discontinued our relationship with Network 54, because of our
disapproval of their new EntryPass system. This was a decision we made with mixed feelings.
To make most effective use of our site, and to maintain our commitment to our own well-being,
we are limiting our site's interactive features to our blog and to email. By focusing our efforts
and remaining mindful of our own needs, we can remain involved more fully with our site and
with the online community.
Because of internal issues, we're a bit slower than we'd like to be at answering our email;
the best way to find us is to go to the message boards at Mosaic
Minds, where we usually visit at least once a day.
We have also discontinued our ICQ Groups and, for the foreseeable future, our use of ICQ
altogether. Our old computer, a 1995 Dell Dimension P90, was not equipped to handle the
increasingly complex ICQ software, and we did not anticipate getting a new computer before the
end of 2003. After our old computer finally pooped out in April 2003, we were able to buy a
Gateway 300S. However, we have no plans to go
back to using ICQ or any other instant message program.
Our Take Back the Night site is also no longer in service.
