MEET THE ROBOTS

Now this is my biggest hobby. Since I was a kid I was dreaming about robots. I am still inlove with R2D2 and No.5 (Short Circuit). I can't afford to buy the parts that I need to build a real one, so I'm playing like a kid with a Lego kit - Robotic Invention System. Unfortunately this kit is pretty limited and the necessary parts will need buying another at least 2 kits and the Vision Command kit. But that is too much, so I'll try to be happy with what I have. These robots that I'm showing to you were not built by me. Some of them I have replicated but I didn't took pictures. I promise next time I will. This is just a sample of what can be built with from Lego's if you have enough imagination. For more information see the Links page. Acesta este cel mai mare hoby al meu. De cand eram copil visam despre roboti. Inca mai sunt indragostit de R2D2 si No.5 (filmul Scurt Circuit). Nu prea imi permit sa cumpar componentele necesare construirii unuia real, asa ca ma joc ca un copil cu un kit Lego - Sistemul de Inventii Robotice. Din pacate, acest kit e foarte limitat si pentru a avea componentele necesare ar trebui achizitionarea a inca cel putin 2 kituri si a kitului cu camera video. Dar costa prea mult, asa ca ma voi multumi cu ceea ce am. Acesti roboti pe care vi-i arat nu au fost construiti de mine. Cativa dintre ei am reusit sa reproduc si eu, dar din pacate nu am facut poze. Promit ca fac data viitoare. acestea sunt doar exemple ce se poate construi din Lego daca ai destula imaginatie. Pentru mai multe informatii vedeti pagina de Linkuri. Ultimii 2 roboti sunt construiti din kituri ce pot fi cumparate la Robot Store pe internet. Cost aproximativ: 600-800 dolari... Cred ca intelegeti ce vreau sa spun...

This one is a low resolution copy machine. Acesta este un copiator de joasa rezolutie.	This one is a Coke or Sprite machine. Acesta este o masina de Cola sau Sprite.	This one solve Rubik's cube! Acesta rezolva cubul lui Rubik!
This one is a nice dog that follow you and barks. Acesta e un caine care te urmeaza si latra.	This one grabs cans and get them in a safe place. Acesta aduna canuri si le pune bine.	This one is a 2 leg walker. Acesta merge pe 2 picioare.

OK guys. As I have promissed I got some pictures of my new robot, Johny5. He looks pretty close to the original only he has big hands used as bumpers. When he hits an obstacle with left hand, he backs-up, turn right and resume course towards the biggest light he can find. Then he stops, makes an alien sound, performes a dance, makes another alien sound and starts again. I hope you'll like him. I took a little movie, without sound. OK prieteni. Asa cum am promis, am facut cateva poze cu noul meu robot, Johny5. Arata aproape la fel ca originalul numai ca are maini mari, folosite ca senzori de atingere. Cand atinge un obiect cu mana stanga, da inapoi, se intoarce spre dreapta si isi urmeaza drumul catre cea mai luminoasa sursa din incapere. Cand o gaseste, se opreste, scoate un sunet extraterestru, danseaza, scoate un alt sunet extraterestru si porneste din nou. Sper sa va placa. Am facut si un filmulet cu el dar e prea mare pentru webpage dar daca vreti sa-l vedeti trimiteti-mi un mesaj si v-il trimit prin email.
