2084. Sergt. Thomas PIERCE* ^(298)(299) was born about 1583/84 in England. He died on 7 Oct 1666 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA. Sewall indicates Thomas died on 6 November 1683. If his birth was in 1583/4 it would make his age about 100 at death. The birth date was chosen as Thomas's will was dated 7 November 1665, when he was "aged about 82 years". Thomas was admitted to the Church at Charlestown 21 February 1634/5, his wife Elizabeth on January 10th before. He was freeman 6 May 1635; taxed in Woburn in 1645 and selectman 1660 and for many years. In September 1842 he was one of twenty-one commissioners appointed to the General Court. His will was dated 7 November 1665 and named his wife executrix, and as overseers Richard Russell, Thomas Danforth, Lt. Randall Nichols, and his son John. The will was excuted in Thomas Danforth's house who, at the time, was Treasurer of Harvard College, to which Thomas bequeathed twenty shillings. Inventory of Thomas' estate was filed by his exceutrix on 22 March 1666/7 and amounted to 413 pounds, 5 shillings. He was married to Elizabeth COLE* on 6 May 1635 in Charlestown Village (Woburn), MA.

iv. Joseph PIERCE was born on 22 Sep 1648 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA. He died on 27 Feb 1649 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA.
v. Joseph PIERCE was born on 13 Aug 1649 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA.
vi. Stephen PIERCE⁽³⁰²⁾ was born on 16 Jul 1651 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA. Woburn Vital Records indicate he married Tabitha Parker, daughter of Jacob, in and of Chelmsford, 18 November 1676. Also, Stephen is shown in the Woburn town records as being a tailor in 1678.

ix. William PIERCE⁽³⁰³⁾ was born on 7 Mar 1657/58 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA. He died on 22 Aug 1720 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA. William was a soldier in 1675 and married Abigail Sommers (nee Warren), 8 April 1690, in Woburn. They had two children: Eve, b.30 Oct 1694, d.21 Aug 1695, and Sommers, b.16 Feb 1697 (m.Martha Holt of Andover).
x. James PIERCE was born on 7 May 1659 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA. He died on 20 Jan 1741/42.⁽³⁰⁴⁾ Sewall indicates Jame's died 20 January 1741/2. His death is not listed in Woburn VRs.
xi. Abigail PIERCE⁽³⁰⁵⁾ was born on 20 Nov 1660 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA. She died on 7 Sep 1719 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA. According to Woburn Vital Records, Abigail married, 18 February 1685, Dea. George Reed (b.14 Sep 1660, d.20 Jan 1756, son of George and Elizabeth (Jennison) Reed, he m. second Sybil Rice of Sudbury, ).
