EIGHTH GENERATION

146. Capt. Josiah MACK * ⁽¹³²⁾ was born on 19 Aug 1721 in Hebron, Tolland Co., CT. He died on 21 May 1812 in Hebron, Tolland Co., CT. After Abigails death, Josiah married 2nd, 12 October 1747, Mary Porter (b. 19 July 1721, daughter of John Porter, Jun., d.3 February 1789). He married 3rd, 9 July 1789, Mrs. Deborah (Horton) Porter (b.abt 1738, d.9 July 1830). There were 10 children from the 2nd marriage between 1748 and 1761. There was no known issue from the 3rd marriage.

On 8 June 1762, Josiah was made an Ensign in His Majesty's 12th Regiment in the parish of Gilead, Town of Hebron by the General Assembly. On 10 October 1765, he was made Lieutenant of the 15th Company (train band), of the 12th Regiment. On 13 May 1773 he was made Captain. He was married to Hester (Esther) TRUMBULL * on 21 Apr 1743.

147. Hester (Esther) TRUMBULL * was born about 1725. She died on 14 May 1747 in Hebron, Tolland Co., CT. Hester's death was 13 days after the birth of her second child. Children were:

i. Esther MACK was born on 26 Dec 1744 in Hebron, Tolland Co., CT. Esther married 1st, 26 January 1764, James Rowe, son of John and Mary Rowe. He d. 10 October 1805 in Sullivan, NH. She married 2nd, 26 August 1807 , Caleb Winch in NH.
