ELEVENTH GENERATION

1288. Robert MOULTON * ⁽²⁹⁷⁾ was born about 1615. He died fall 1665 in Salem Village, MA. Robert was Rector of Salem Church in 1640. He and his wife lived in Salem and each left a will. His will was signed 5 sep 1665 (a copy is shown on pg 63 of source). He was married to Abigail GOODE * in Feb 1640 in Salem Village, MA.

1289. Abigail GOODE * was born about 1620. She died in 1665/66 in Salem Village, MA. Abigail was aneice to Emanuel Downing. Children were:

i. Abigail MOULTON was born before 25 Dec 1642 in Salem Village, MA. Abigail married Benjamin Bellflower, 3 feb 1658, he d. 24 feb 1659/60.

iii. John MOULTON was born on 25 Apr 1654/55 in Salem Village, MA. He died in 1741 in Salem Village, MA. John married Elizabeth Corey, 16 Sep 1684, daughter of Giles Corey. They lived in salem and the bond for his will was administered 25 May 1741. They had children: John , b. - , m. Judith Mackintire, 13 Mar 1721 in salem, dau. of Daniel Mackintire; Miriam, b. -- , d. 1824; Margaret, b. -- , m. 30 jun 1734, Ebenezer Aborn of Lynn; Elizabeth; Abigail, b. -- , m. 13 Jan 1725, John Burdon of Sutton.
iv. Samuel MOULTON died in 1667/68 in Salem Village, MA. Samuel estate was administered by Henry Bartholomew, Joseph Grafton, George Gardner, and Samuel Gardner on the 30th of JUn 1668. The estate, after debts were paid, was divided between the surviving sisters and brothers of Samuel (Salem County Court records, Vol 5).
v. Joseph MOULTON was born on 3 Jan 1656 in Salem Village, MA. He died after 9 Jun 1680. Joseph was a mariner and in 1684/5 he sold property inherited from his father to Thomas Flint, husband of his sister Hannah. A footnote to the source reads: "Note- Hannah Moulton m. Stephen Flint November 6, 1714, in Lynn (both of Lynn). Was she dr. of Joseph? (Salem T.R.)"
vi. Miriam MOULTON was born in Jan 1658/59 in Salem Village, MA. Miriam married first, Joseph Bachellor of Beverly, 8 Oct 1677; second, Freedom Balsh, before 1685.
vii. Mary MOULTON was born on 15 Jun 1661 in Salem Village, MA. Mary married William Lord Jr., 7 Apr 1680.
viii. Hannah MOULTON was born about 1646 in Salem Village, MA. She died on 20 Mar 1673. Hannah married Thomas Flint, 22 May 1666.
