On the following page are a number of questions about your attitudes towards your studies and your usual ways of studying.

There is no right way of studying. It all depends on what suits your own style and the courses you are studying. The following questions have been carefully selected to cover the more important aspects of studying. It is accordingly important that you answer each question as honestly as you can. If you think that your answer to a question would depend on the subject being studied, give the answer that would apply to the subjects most important to you.

How to Answer

For each item there is a row of boxes for a five-point scale on the Answer Sheet:

The numbers stand for the following responses:
5 -- this item is always or almost always true of me
4 -- this item is frequently true of me
3 -- this item is true of me about half the time
2 -- this item is sometimes true of me
1 -- this item is never or only rarely true of me.

Example

I study best with the radio on.

If this was almost always true of you, you would click on 5.

If you only sometimes studied well with the radio on, you would click on 2.

Click on the number on that best fits your immediate reaction. Do not spend a long time on each item: your first reaction is probably the best one. Please answer each item
