I bought most from Mouser. The service
isn't too bad and they had mostly all of it, apart from the Ethernet Device
itself and the Magnetics unit.
I understand that there is a world shortage of chip resistors these
days, so these might be on a long lead time (as might the serial eeprom).
I might consider making a *complete* kit of parts available for others,
but the cost (about $50?) might put some off.
I won't make money on that in case you're wondering. This has not been
a cheap exercise!
(Let me know by e-mailing me if you think this is a good idea, and I'll see what the response is like, then let you all know if this will be feasible.Getting hold of one's and two's of the 82558 doesn't make economic sense)
The biggest problem is the Ethernet Controller. It's no longer a production item from Intel (like two years ago!!), so you have to search *very* hard to find them.
