The gardens and mudbaths at Healing Garden date back to the early 1930s, so the gardens have been extensively cultivated throughout the years. In 2004, the mudbaths were incorporated into the Spa facilities, so that they could be used along with other offered body treatments, and the landscaping was re-vamped to highlight the beautiful old trees and unique plant types found here. The organic gardens were also redone, with the goal of maximizing their productivity and variety so that the crop yield could be utilized in our in-house restaurant, providing our guests with the freshest organic produce possible.
Because Healing Gardens Spa sits on so much acreage, during the renovation period it was possible to expand the walks and trails in and around the property. There are many lovely places to visit...flower lined paths that wind on bridges over ponds, intimate alcoves to sit and gather your thoughts, as well as hiking trails to expend excess energy and reconnect with nature.

In the instance that a guest finds a particular plant or flower that they take a special liking to, seeds and seedlings are generally available for sale, depending on the season.
