Evoked - Friends of ours from Shelton CT as well. They're pretty originaly sounding so its hard to give them a genre, but they're altogether a good rock band.

Rufus Wainwright - This man is an incredible artist. Some of his songs are like a climatic ending to a thriller movie. They seriously just take my breath away.

Gavin DeGraw - A brand new artis who is quite similar to the two I just mentioned above and is extremely talented. Every one of the songs off of his cd are awesome.
