How to skin SOF

Ohh boy.  there is alot of how to's out.  Ladypain has one and Grim [i think that is who] has one too.  Ebandit has there files if you want to read or download it. 

There are 8 parts.  4 *.tga files [ which come out of pak0.pak file ] then the *.gpm, the *.rmf,  the *.gpl, and the *.pak file.

*.tga  are the targa image files. 4 to make a skin.

*.gpm  is to tell the custom.gpl where to get the tga's from

*.rmf  is to show the team name, AKA, stats, or jsut plain crap that you want to say about your skin

*.gpl is to tell the game that you have custom skins to use in Multiplayer ONLY

You will need Qped to extract the pak files and pak the skins in.  Check out Soffiles  or Ebandits Skin Help Page and download it.  But not the tga2m32 crap!!  It is suppose to convert the tga file for the display of when you get killed, but it just crashes my PC when you start a server.

Ok folder arrangment

comskin is the first folder the root folder

inside that make ghoul ,  menus and pics                  Inside   ghoul make custom  enemy and  pmodels

inside custom make a folder for each skin

inside the enemy folder is where ladypains skin sets  A folder for each skin

inside pmodel make a boltons   portraits   and teamicons folder

inside the menus  folder make a players folder and inside that goes the blah.rmf

inside the pics folder make a menus folder.  I dont know what for!?!?!?!
