Why are no Government Grants obtained? It is the unfortunate experience of a number of social working institutions that, even if some government officials may be truly and genuinely interested in supporting and promoting a good cause, it somehow proves to be quite difficult to actually receive that support without severe restrictions and pressures associated with it.
We, at Gram-Mangal, are not against involving the local governments. However, in our case, it's a one-way street. If local governments ask for our help or expertise in the field on Child Education, we provide it on the condition that our complete autonomy is retained, and we also charge appropriate fees for our services!
