I am not positive that it is this James (David's son) who either married Elizabeth Dorman or who is listed in the 1850 census in Jackson Co., and I definitely don't have any proof that it is. But I am pretty sure it is him in the 1850 census, mostly because of the children's names and his proximity to the Pierson family (4 census listings away).
