Texas Harmony (formerly known as Greater Dallas Chorus) of Sweet Adelines International was founded in 1968. The chorus members are dedicated to performing vocal music in the classic American four-part a cappella harmony style known as "barbershop". We continue to improve our musical and performance skills and the chorus has often won medals at regional competitions.

Texas Harmony Chorus strives for excellence and, in the course of a rehearsal, members receive training on such things as vocal production, performance fundamentals, sight singing, ear training and choreography. The opportunities for musical and administrative growth are tremendous. Chorus members come from all fields: educational, medical, domestic, computer, and engineering, but their common love of singing brings them all together.

We rehearse at 7:15 pm every Monday in the Choir Room (P249) of North Lake Junior College campus, MacArthur Boulevard in Irving, TX. If you are interested in learning more about a cappella singing, we invite you to drop by any of our rehearsals.
