This page contains information on Babylon 5 characters and developments that occurred during season 5, the TV movies, Crusade and Legend of the Rangers.
Pres JOHN SHERIDAN - Once in office one of his first acts is to provide a safe haven for a group of renegade telepaths. He does this in order to prevent a war between the telepaths and mundanes. Unfortunately it backfires and makes matters worse. At the same time he must contend with a mysterious force attacking Alliance ships which led to a skirmish with one of their own member worlds. Sheridan finally leaves Babylon 5 with Delenn to run the Alliance from Minbar but he will return at times for various reasons.
A few years later Sheridan uncovers a plot by the Drakh, former servants of the Shadows, to use a Shadow planet killer to destroy Earth. He leads a fleet of ships and destroys the planet killer, but not before the Drakh unleash a virus that will destroy all life on Earth within five years. He orders a new ship, the Excalibur, to search the galaxy for a cure and the plague is eventually stopped.
Many years later, after Lorien's cure finally begins to wear off, Sheridan finally began to succumb to the death he avoided many years before. Setting out in a White Star he returns to Babylon 5 one last time before disappearing never to be seen again.
AMBASSADOR DELENN - After Sheridan became leader of the Alliance, Delenn stood by his side, giving him advice and helping him to keep the Alliance together. Because of her partly human physiology she was able to become pregnant and she and John had a son who they named David.
David Sheridan would later follow in his parents footsteps and become a Ranger. Jut John Sheridan's health would eventually fade as Lorien's cure wore off. After Sheridan disappears, Delenn turns command of the Rangers over to Ivanova and serves as leader of the Alliance in Sheridan's place.
MICHAEL GARIBALDI - Garibaldi eventually became the head of intelligence for Sheridan's Interstellar Alliance. Alcoholism eventually led to his removal from that position but he recovered. He married Lise Hampton Edgars, William Edgars widow, and took control of Edgars Industries.
Capt. SUSAN IVANOVA - Ivanova eventually became a General in Earthforce and went on to take command of the Rangers.
CITIZEN G'KAR - Once Sheridan forms the Interstellar Alliance G'Kar helps to craft documents and speeches. His own writings are made public and G'Kar becomes a revered figure back on Narn. The devotion of his people is so overwhelming that he is forced to wander the galaxy for a time.
G'Kar eventually ends up on Centauri Prime where he is found dead with Emperor Mollari.
