why do you walk away?
why can't you look me in the eye?
why do i hear things about you,
that make me start to cry?
was it something i said?
did i hurt you somehow?
if it was something i did,
please tell me now.
when i say i love you,
i mean it with all my heart.
why do i get the impression
that we're growing apart?
i just want you to hold me close
and never let me go.
say that you'll be here for me
in the sunshine or the snow.
can't you see it's love?
confusing yet so true.
all i have left to say,
is that i love you.
