"Forbidden Love"

I remember the times we used to share.

I remember thinking then,that you didn't care.

So then we went our separate ways.

But I thought of you almost every day.

And I said some things I didn't really mean

I know you didn't deserve them so please forgive me.

and I remember how we sat together and stared into the skies.

and I can't forget how I felt when I looked into your eyes.

and now we stand alone and sadness fills our hearts

because I cannot take you back, we have to stay apart.

Sometimes how I wish I could hold you close again

and love you once more as I loved you then.

But now our love is as forbidden as can be.

I know it's not fair to you and it isn't fair to me.

But nothing in this world can stand between us forever

our time will come again a time when we can be together

and when that time comes around I hope that you're still there

you said that you would wait for me you said that you still cared.

so someday I'll tell you that I've had enough

and then we can put an end... to this forbidden love.
