Completed Research

"The Importance of the Peer."

My personal theory on being a writing consultant, I wrote "The Importance of the Peer" focusing on the peer to peer relationship between writing consultants and clients in order to make sure that I would always strive to build a positive and comfortable environment that clients would want to return to.

"Utilizing Computers in Writing Center Sessions."
After observing a sessions where a client edited his paper on his laptop as the session was conducted, I was intrigued by how the usual consultant-client relationship had to shift to accomadating the new element. My reseach focused on how computers affect the writing process and weather bringing computers into sessions was helpful or harmful to the session.

"Theories of Vestigial Structure Formation."

Why does has evolution left humans with a useless apenddix and why do fish that live in complete darkness have non-fuctioning eyes? In the paper I delve into the nature of apparently useless structures examine the plausibilty of the current theories to explain their existance.

Current Research

Magic within the Arthurian Tales.
"The Use of and the Attitude towards Magic in "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight' and Layamon's Brut."

Writing Across Different Fields.

Future Research

I'm interested in studying English and French linguistics, particularly the influence of German and French upon the English language.

Although I don't know that I'll have the luxury, I would enjoy studying cognitive science. The brain is the root of human intelligence and we understand so little about it. I've always loved information, dream, and thought. I would be particularly interested in thought formulation, that is how is a thought formed in the mind before it articulated with language.

Lastly, and more practically, I am interested in books. I can easily forsee myself studying library science, specifically cataloging, preservation of rare books, and library management.
