    John and Mary were married Dec. 23, 1702 in Hingham, Massachusetts. Mary Beal was his second wife. John Orcutt had 4 wives, Experience Pratt, Abigail Farrow and Marcy Daniels being the other three.

    John moved from Bridgewater to Hingham before his second marriage. He was Constable in 1712 and was one of the original members of the second church, formed in 1721.

    Micah married Hannah Breed (b.?)

    According to Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors in the War of the Revolution 17 Vols. , Volume 11, Page 664: “Orcutt, Micah. List of men belonging to the U.S. brig General Gates, commanded by Capt. John Skimmer, entitled to prize shares [year not given]; said Orcutt rated 1 share.” It appears that Micah was a seaman according to the American Genealogical-Biographical Index (AGBI).

    Micah lived on Charter Street in Boston in 1787 and worked as an engine man on engine No. 1.

    According to Boston, Massachusetts Directory 1796 Micah Orcutt was a fisherman and lived on Ship Street. Continued as a fisherman and lived on Cole Lane in Boston according to Boston Massachusetts Directory 1806, and at 23, Cross Street in Boston according to Boston Massachusetts Directory 1807.
