This CD was made and released my freshman year as part of a Student
Scholarship Presentation. The CD featured songs I had made in my music
technoloy class taught by Ms Suzanne
Moore at Our Lady of the Lake Univeristy. The majority of the music
was made with Fruity Loops a yamaha keyboard and a vocal mic. This was
also the first time debuted my voice. A progression was definitely apparent
as one listened from the first to the last song. I recieved very favorable
responses from everyone in attendance. While no physical copies of the
CD remain I still have the songs in mp3 format.
Mavis Demo 1 (2002):
- Star Fantastico
- Explain Yourself
- The Paper Song
- Texas
My first band's CD which debuted in 2002. This CD was terribly recorded
at a garage/studio. Matt recorded us and was very patient however he
lacked some necessary recording tools. We ended up selling all but a
few that we managed to lose but i have recently found! About 8 copies
remain.
Mavis Demo 2 (2003):
- Leave Me Hear
- Senor Star Fantastico
- Clock
The Paper Song (acoustic)
Clock (acoustic)
This was the first CD that actually I was actually proud of. Unfortunately
it was made at the decline of the band in the Fall of 2003. Recorded
at Lay Down Studios this CD was made on an extremely tight budget. However,
the extra we invested in the CD was well worth it. I was able to spend
extra time on our sweet ass song "Senor Star Fantastico".
This CD was made with only frank(drummer) and I. I ended up playing
all the other parts - guitar, bass, vocals and backing vocals. The CD
art was done by my brilliant cousin Mike Rodriguez. Approximately 6
CDs remain.

This album is currently in the works. Most tracks are acoustic but there
are a few other instruments scattered here and there.
About Silone/You Never Know - This one is actually pretty damn good.
It's currently 12:47am and i've been working on it since 10pm yesterday.
I finally brought most of my instruments home (mainly drums guitars and
keyboard.) This song is very light, soft and as my mom put it "tinkerbellish".
This is the first song I actually play live drums and it all sounds pretty
damn good except for the drums (I am very rusty.) Because I suck
on drums i have to re-record it. The other instruments include strings,
paino, music, acoustic bass, and vocals. This song is clocks in at 7:07.
Will you ever hear it? Perhaps...
Unfortunately when I was doing some maintainence on my computer I accidentally
deleted the songs that have Lost by them.
If you heard them, awesome! Because you'll probably never hear them again
(Although I think I have Daylight Wandering somewhere on a CD) Some have
heard some tracks, most have not. Acoustic Demo2 and Daylight Wandering
have been completed. However I will probably visit most if not all tracks
for refinement. It is expected to come out in winter
of 2006.
So I walked into the vault and reviewed some of the items that were
locked up. To my surprise most of the songs were pretty sweet. I try
to make it a habit to record everything i play so in effect I've amassed
a sizeable amount of tunes.

What are the above items? The first image is titled songs. Typically
they have lyrics (not good lyrics but mediocre lyrics). The second image
is quite a good amount of songs that i've recorded since August 13,
05. I listened to all of them this morning and found that I liked about
90% of them and could make them into songs. will i ever get around to
doing that?
