I didn't feel too well today. I wasn't sick or anything. I just didn't feel well (still don't).

I paid for a new Kustom Tuck and Roll speaker cabinet. I saved about 400 bucks on it.

In light of my downess i did manage to write a lullabye. I'm not sure if i want to put it up. it's kind of depressing.

I'm trying to write enough songs that way i can put out a CD. So far i think i have 3. that's 3 of 10. closer to a new cd:-).

it's time for bed.

What's up kids? As pour moi, not much. Just trying to get into the groove of school. Last week I had an interview for a position in one of my classes. While it sounds like BS, it's not. Let me tell you about it.

A group of seven people are going to be put in charge of formulating an idea of how to run a 1000+ event. The event is an easter egg hunt with at least 500+ in attendence. We're in charge of every thing from funding to actually running the easter egg hunt.

I was chosen as Associate Executive Director. I was a little upset that I didn't make Executive Director but that's ok. I'll have a little less responsibility.

So in other non-school related news my NY amigo, Mr. Dennis, shot me a copy of Beck's new album which has yet to be titled. That's right. The whole thing. I've reviewed it a bit and I'd have to give it a 7. That's pretty good cause i'm a hard on music. I also heard the Mars Volta's new track "The Widow" which is their new single as well as another one of their tracks. Frances the Mute has already been leaked on the net! Crazy! After hearing the first track I felt guilty and decided to listen no more. It should be good when it finally comes out. Also check here for more food for thought.

I also added a sound file from my previous band Mavis. I hope you enjoy that.

It's been 10 days since i've updated! Shite! Sorry about that. I've been busy with school and work and yeah those are just excuses.

What have I been up to lately?... hrmm... Well i talked to some friends i haven't talked to in a long time which is always good. On Sunday, I kicked ass at poker getting poker in one of the first few hands i was dealt. I turned my $5 investment into $38. Rock!

This semester should be an interesting semester. I'm finally taking a good load of worthwhile classes. Managerial Communication, Ebusiness analysis and Planning, Principles of Finance all look to be interesting classes. More about that later.

Anyway, here's a song to make up for it.

Well I'm almost over my illness. I'm about 90% back to normal. I think I would 100% if I wasnt working so much. Last week we were understaffed and it was hell trying to meet the goals our company requires. I definitely needs some rest. I'm definitely pooped! So I have a considerable amount of money that I need to do something with. I could do one of the following:

• Spend this money on clothes. I haven't bought a whole bunchof clothes in a long time. I mostly just pick up pieces here and there. Speaking of clothes I have a super cool blazer that i got at texas thrift store of I-10. check it. Anyway, maybe i should go buy a round of clothes? No?
• Splurge on musical instruments. In order to easily record on my computer i need a few musical/pro audio things such as a Break-out box, an mBox, a shure sm58 beta microphone, a ukelele, a Zildjian K 16" crash, and a Sony ECM-DS70P. I also want to make another CD. I have serveral new songs i want to record and they range from accapella songs to acoustic guitar songs to electronic based songs. This new cd should be pretty good considering i've improved in everything since the last time I recorded. I just need some musicians or time so i can program my robots. This cd probably won't be out for another year.
• Invest in the stock market. I've been meaning to invest in the ol' stock market. eBay stocks have soared through the roof. I work at an eBay drop off store and our franchise is taking off. This means increase profits for eBay. Therefore I should invest! But the stock market is like gambling and I could loose my money...
• Invest in a roth IRA. This is probably the best idea. If i want to be a millionaire I just need to invest in one of these accounts. The catch is is that you have to wait 40years to take out money! SHit! Also I need about 1000 to start this investment.

If you were me what would you pick? It's so hard to choose. Maybe I should just put it all in the bank?

First day of school is tomorrow! Wish me luck and straight A's!

Today I did a lot of nothing! So exciting. I did manage to wake up though. That's always a good thing. I started off the day by playing a little freecell. I really like that game. I've played 672 games and i have a 65% winning percentage. My motivation is to keep moving that percentage up. I also have a personal record of a 14 game winning streak. As I was playing freecell I was listening to Alanis, Fiona Apple, and Sondre on the old winamp and I got inspired to write a song. So went to my room and came up with a nifty riff which led into another song. I wish I could write lyrics. I'd be pretty good you know...

Later on in the day I went to the boys and girls center at the laurel hieghts location of woodlawn to teach a couple kids how to play the drums. It's kinda weird... The young man i have, whose name is mikey, plays very soft and the girl i have, gabriela, is very very loud... They're the same young age of 10 so it's interesting to see them play. Anyway, they seem really happy to be learning the drums. I gave them both a pair drumsticks today. How can one be a drummer without sticks?

When I came home my mommy was making the best meal she makes. Tacos. I had myself three tacos and was three times delighted. Now I'm here writing to you! I'm going to check and see if the misses is in so i'll write more later...

Well I just got home from work. Boy (or girl, which ever applies), am I tired! I can't even think right. Speaking of work, they might make me assistant manager! wahoo. Notice the lower case "wahoo" followed by a period. Not too enthused. Why? Well, even though it may mean more pay and a higher status, I'm going to have to deal with more crap and the raise won't be significant enough to put an extra porkchop on the plate.

Speaking of porkchops... That's the one food I can't stand. I think it's because my parents made too much of it when i was a youngin'. Now it's just gross. I'd rather make a sandwich.

Speaking of sandwich... Doesn't it annoy you when people say sangwich? If you're not from San Antonio or any other tex mex city you probably wont understand. It's Sand-Wich not Sang-Wich. The food item is not a song to be sung and therefor cannot be sang.

Anyway, about my christmas... Neither my mother or my father got me gifts for christmas. They said that we're going to have to celebrate christmas on the epiphany, Jan. 6th. That just means we don't love you enough to get you presents so we're going to give you money. What a bummer... The only thing i did manage to get was that sweet ass cymbal, a King Crimson CD and a lovely custom made CD. For pics of the cymbal see the previous entry. This was all from my wonderful girlfriend! Oh yes and I also got a sweet ass picture frame with a bunch of great pics from my aunt. I'll post some of them in a bit. So I went to church in the morning and then to my uncles house for family, food and fun (otherwise known as the "three F's"), then to ms sonia's pad to pic her up to join us in the christmas festivities, then to my cousin's to try out my cymbal (because he has my drumset at his house) and finally to sonia's uncle's townhouse to finish off the night.

I would say aside from the lack of presents from my parents, this christmas gets 8 out of 10 Frosty's. That's snowmen not Wendy's after dinner desserts.

Today is Christmas Eve! Cheers over here! Cheers over there! Also today i was actually on time for my meeting at work! Saweet! And guess what? They had me close the store. So i got to be the key master! Double Saweet! We closed up at about 3 and i made my last round of christmas shopping at best buy. I had to get one final gift for the misses but unfortunately they didn't have it! So i just got some gift certificates for the sisters. Do sisters enjoy best buy gift certificates as much as brothers do? If not, I'll gladly take them back!

So i don't think my parents got me anything this year. I dunno if it's a hoax or what but they said they came back empty handed last night. They didn't have much time before the department stores close so i can see that. Oh well, at least i got them a present! Christmas at my house seems to be less Christmassy every year. Less decorations, less stockings, less presents. Maybe its because they're saving up for the Ludwig Classic Maple Fab Four Drumset I've always wanted. Or maybe they're *gasps* trying to make Christmas Disappear!

In the words of every programmer's first born, Hello world! So I and Ms Sonia tried out the Salt Grass steakhouse. It was decent but a bit over priced. I wouldn't have paid 40 bucks for 2 meals, a drink and an appetizer; however, we had a gift certificate. Our server was pretty nice although she didn't check on us as often as one might have liked.

Other things that went on today... I got my check from work. 400 bucks! wahoo! Too bad it's going to christmas presents and my payment on my tires. Boo... I also found out that I have to go to work early tomorrow for some meeting. Double boo. I got my gf's present in the mail today! How cool it looked! I just wanted to open it and play with it. But I must contain myself.

I hope you like the new logo! It's super cheesy and goes well with nachos. Please sign my guestbook. I have a feeling I'm only going to have a few vistors. Also hit me up on the Yahoo IM! So i've updated the Pictures page and this page. I hope that's enough to tide you over until tomorrow. Ciao!

I just finished jamming with some lads of the band Roma and another young chap of whose name i've seemed to have misplaced in the memory cells atop my cerebellum. We had a pretty good time even though we lacked the drums. Hopefully we'll get to play a show pretty soon. We want to get 3 songs down the next time we practice. If there are any fans of Plastic Barbacoa Tacos, (that's our tentative name) otherwise known as P.B.T. , be prepared for some excitement. Please don't confuse P.B.T. with P.B.J.. Tacos and Jelly should never be confused. You don't put tacos on your biscuits nor do you put jelly on your mexican plates.

Well last night the lovely Ms Sonia accompanied me to several places for some pre last minute Christmas shopping. Got several people taken off mi list. Oh crap, I have to tell you this. I was in Best Buy and I forgot my money. So I was walking out side and there was this guy about 10 or 15 feet infront of me. Some people passed me by and I smelled fart! It was nasty mexican food fart! Disgusting. I held my breath until after those people were a substantial distance away from me. So i let out my air preparing to take in some fresh a... awe sh*t! It still smelled disgusting. That guy infront of me was farting! ahhh detour!

I saw several things at best buy and other places you can buy me. here's my wish list:

So I was checkin' out some things on eBay yesternight and I found this auction that had a suped up guitar pedal. I was reading about it and apparently this guy modified it to have a smoother bass response. I read further into this and found a site with a guy who has layouts of pedals and how you can do your own mods. Well i started looking at the blue prints and there was a crazy layout of the pedals' circuit boards. Because my EE degree means Ebusiness and Entreprenuership and not Electrical Engineering I couldn't understand it. So now what I want to learn is about electronics so I can modify my pedals! Wahoo. So buy me an electronics kit.

First Page upload. Maybe there's more to come maybe there's less?

I downloaded some christmas music at my mother's request to listen to while we put up our holey fake plastic christmas tree. It's kind of funny because we used to wait until a week before to go shopping for christmas trees. And we'd always go to some lot where it looked like we could get the best price. Along with the best price came the best holes in our tree. To take care of this problem my dad decided buy a fake christmas tree. Well it's up and has quite a few holes. Oh well, at least i don't have to vacuum up any needles after the holiday season.

Anyway, while i was listening to some christmas songs and I really got to liking Nat King Cole's version of Chestnuts Roasting... It made me want to learn it on guitar. However when i searched for it all i got was ebusiness sites wanting me to buy sheet music. Funk that. And funk all you ebusiness people for messing up my Christmas!

I have my Christmas party for the company I work for- iSoldIt. It's kinda funny cause we have to pay to go. The company wasn't turning as big a profit as they thought. I have several theories on why that is but they don't listen to me as well as they should. All I have to say is CRM.

So I finally decided to make a page about myself. Isn't that neat? I guess if i have any fans now or in the future they can keep tabs on me. Or maybe if you have like a report or something to do you can do it on me. I must warn you though, the last person who did a report on me didn't do so hot. Consider yourself warned.
