SAT GRE Crash Course This is must have software.840 words in database.The words are divided into 42 lists.There are plenty of excercises with each wordlist.It is shareware but all features enabled and does not expire. (866 KB)

wordweb :Its a free downloadable dictionary software and has over 120000 words.
Recomended if you do not have a dictionary program on your PC.(4 MB approx)

Mock GRE test Software

mygrecbt.topcool.net/ is a free fullfledged test.
You can connect to their site and allow the question paper to load and then solve it offline.It designed pretty much the way ETS papers are & the site uses java. Available at http://mygrecbt.topcool.net/onlinetest.htm

GRE simulator : This a free full length computer based test from infozee.
The download is 3 MB approx
The scores are displayed as soon as you finish the three sections.
