An Angel?

When my husband asked me to do this page, I thought to myself that there was no way I could do that. But after thinking about it, I know that I can with just one little thought. I do have a very special angel in my life.  She lives in Georgia, and we have known each other since February of 1977.   God sent this special angel to me as a friend.  When I had surgery, she was there right beside my husband, and wiped my forehead as my husband held my hand.  She was there with me when I lost my mother.  She opened her door to both my husband and I, when we were homeless due to loosing everything when a fire destroyed our car.  We were in the process of moving, and had sold everything but what we had in the car.  She was there during so many of my heart aches, and the miles when we were separated never has diminished our friendship.  We are like sisters.  I have also been there for her.  We have told each other things, that not even our husbands know. <G>  Girls do have to have some secrets, you know.  LOL  Her children are my children, and my children are hers.  She is the Godmother to my grand daughter, and this grand daughter is named after her, and her daughter. I wish we did live closer, but we do go up and visit with them a lot.  Her husband is very ill with a bad heart, and he also has lupus.  It hurts me to hear her cry.  I was able to call her and lean on her when I nearly lost my husband a year ago.
