Hike Information:
Route: George to Storms River - This is the oldest hiking trails in South Africa.
Distance: 108 kilometers
Grade: Difficult
|
Hike Accommodation:
Hut accommodation is available at each overnight stop. Huts are equipped with mattresses, field toilets and drinking water.

All meals and daily food portions will be provided by TISA. If you have questions or comments.

Hike Equipment:
Although personal tastes differ, the following items should be considered.
Clothing: trousers, shorts, underwear, tracksuits, sturdy hiking boots, light walking shoes, long socks,
six light shirts, one warm shirt, sweater, light rainproof jacket or anorak and hat.
Essential Equipment: backpack 20 kg capacity, sleeping bag, torch, two water bottles, personal toiletries, lip balm, sunscreen, insect repellent.
Optional Equipment: sunglasses, camera, binoculars, compass.
Hike Transport:
Transport from Cape Town to the start of the hiking trail and back to Cape Town will be provided by
TISA.
Hike Restrictions:
A minimum of 4 hikers - a maximum of 12 hikers. All hikers require personal accident insurance.
